Origami Samurai
Being of a military background, retired US Air Force and having members of my family in the military in every major war the US has been in since the American Revolutionary War, I have found the study of the military arts fascinating. But there is one area that I find most interesting...that of the Samurai.

I was able to see an exhibit of actual Samurai armor at the art museum in the Bellagio in Las Vegas. I was blown away by the detail, functionality, and artistry of the armor. This has inspired me to apply my origami skills to Samurai armor. This is a work in progress and I hope you enjoy following on with the journey.

The exhibit I saw in Las Vegas was a subset of the Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Collection which is the largest collection of Samurai armor outside of Japan. You can find links to this in my links page.
